Filet Mignon (2/6-8oz)

Filet Mignon aproximate weight of 6-8 oz per filet 2 to a package.  
 
Filet mignon is the most tender cut of beef available.  Lean while still succulent, this cut has a fine buttery texture that cooks well with any method, however best prepared on the grill or under a broiler. 
 
Tenderloin Filet, Filet mignon, comes from the area below the backbone know as the loin primal.  KC strip steaks, t-bones and porterhouse steaks are also cuts from the loin primal.
