Whole Beef Deposit
For a hungry family, our whole beef order is the way to go. With the largest variety you can ensure you will get everyone's favorite cut. Be prepared, as a whole beef order will take the full space of a chest or upright freezer unit, roughly 18 cubic feet of space is needed.
Our whole beef ranges from 425 - 600 pounds of finished beef product. If you are looking for the very best variety of cuts, this is your best option, as compared to quarter and half beef orders. The whole beef order is the only way to guarantee you recieve every available cut. Each animal differs, but our efforts to raise the best animal possible ensures you are going to get the best cuts possible.
The cuts usually consists of 20-25% steaks, 25-35% roasts, stew meat and short ribs, and 40-50% ground beef. That means you can get premium cuts such as Filet Mignon and T-Bones for as low as $5.00 a pound.
Your final whole beef price is figured on hanging weight which is not determined until the beef is processed. Based on our last 20 hanging weights a whole beef will be aprox. $2700 with $450 in processing. Your beef will be processed at Sprague Locker in Brookfield or Chillicothe Meat Locker in Chillicothe depending on our appointment avaialbility. All meat is custom processed and packed per your specifications and then double layer wrapped for longevity in your freezer. If this is your first time doing this, no worries, our butchers are great about walking you through and making sure you have the best cuts. You are responsible for picking up your beef once beef is processed (unless previously discussed). Balance is due upon completion of your order. Deposits are non-refundable.
We don't process whole beef orders until they are placed. After placing your whole beef order we will call you from Pasture to Plate Co. to discuss any preference options that may be available for processing your order and to explain the expected timeline for delivery of your order. Be sure to provide us with your email so that I may email a contract to you as well.
Our beef shares are black angus, no hormones used, antibiotic free, grain finished and 21 day dry aged.
