B A C O N ! ! !

Pasture to Plate Co. bacon and pork belly comes to you without any curing or preservatives. Our pork is simple and clean offering a perfect canvas for creating your perfect flavors. There is no right or wrong to this recipe and to be honest I did not measure anything so it really is a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Sprinkle on and you are sure to love it. I apologize to those who swear they need an exact recipe but it seems my Mom and Grandma are showing up in my cooking.


2 lbs uncured thick cut bacon

Pink Himalayan Salt (or your preferred version of salt)


Turmeric - I used about 1 tsp

Turbinado Sugar in the Raw - I used aproxamatly a 1/4 cup


Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Remove bacon from package and lay flat in a single layer on a foil lined jelly roll pan (cookie sheet with sides).

Sprinkle bacon with salt, pepper, turmeric & sugar. I flipped mine and sprinkled both sides.

Place in oven and bake at 400 degrees for 18-22 minutes depending on your preferred crispiness. Enjoy!!

Side notes turmeric will give the bacon grease a yellowish color, its ok. Turmeric makes a beautiful natural yellow food coloring.
