Our brisket was an absolute hit this week as we served it up at The Sip Chillicothe.
I left with a list of people wanting the recipe so since you asked you shall receive.
A good brisket, well it starts with a good brisket. At pasture to Plate Co. we offer a small, medium, large and x-large brisket so we are sure to have the perfect brisket for your gathering.
Are you ready for the easiest recipe ever? Here you go!!
1 Pasture to Plate Co. Brisket
1 Lemon
1 16 oz bottle of Bragg Liquid Aminos
Garlic Powder
Once your brisket is thawed place it in a deep dish and simply sprinkle it with garlic powder, squeeze of one lemon over the top and one 16oz bottle of Bragg Liquid Aminos (this is a natural gluten free version of soy sauce and can be found at Hy-Vee or Wal-Mart). Cover the brisket and marinate over night.
After marinating the brisket dump off the liquid (you can keep this and boil it for dipping later or pour a little over the finished product if you would like), wrap the brisket in foil and place back into your dish and cook in a 350° oven for 4 hours. Once cooked let the brisket rest/cool before cutting. I then simply put the cut brisket into the crockpot with a tiny bit of the boiled marinade to warm it back up and you are ready to serve.
BBQ sauce optional honestly, the meat will speak for itself.
May your gathers be filled with special people and great food!
