Wholegrain Pizza Crust


Wholegrain pizza crust - It's extra fast and extra nutritions. Just mix and pat the dough into the pan. There's no yeast, no time lost in rising.


Crust

2/3 cup milk

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 1/4 cup all purpose flour

3/4 cup ground oat flour (place 1 - 1 1/2 cups oatmeal in a coffee grinder or food processor and grind)

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt


Add milk and oil to combined dry ingredients; stir with fork until mixture forms ball. Turn out onto lightly floured surface; knead about 10 times. With greased fingertips, press dough into greased 14 inch roudn pizza pan; shape edge to form rim. Bake in preheated oven 425 degrees 10-15 minutes.


Remove crust from oven. Add sauce and desired toppings return pizza to oven and continue cooking at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes.


*Consider Pasture to Plate Co. ground beef, pork sausage, bacon, leftover roast or brisket as part of your pizza toppings.
